About Alliant Roofing Company
Alliant Roofing Company is owner Jeff Sitton’s latest enterprise, offering unmatched expertise and experience in the commercial roofing industry.
Sitton is also the owner of Spokane Roofing Company, which has been in operation since 1907 under the ownership of only two families. Jeff’s father Dave Sitton began working there in 1990, purchased it 12 years later, and Jeff went to work the day his dad bought the business.
Alliant continues the tradition of outstanding workmanship and customer service established by Sitton at Spokane Roofing, guaranteeing that all work will be completed in a professional and timely fashion using only the finest quality products applied by skilled, experienced craftsmen.
Alliant’s commercial roofing contractor services include a wide range of application options, including TPO single-ply, membrane flat roofing, Polyiso rigid insulation, sheet metal flashings, copings, and gutters, and public works and insurance projects. Roof maintenance programs include regularly-scheduled inspections, retrofits and roof coatings, warranty work and cleaning.
A Spokane, WA native, Sitton prides himself on his company’s trustworthiness and integrity. His goal from the beginning of his involvement with Spokane Roofing was to change the industry by delivering a better product at a better price. All of his employees take both their professional and personal responsibilities seriously. His motto?

Experience, momentum, and opportunity are the three biggest factors for the growth of Alliant Roofing in Central Washington and into a regional brand. There are a lot of commercial roofs in this area that need to be fixed or replaced. Even more flat roof inspections need to be done. We recently completed a project on several government buildings in Benton County, and did a significant repair job for United Way in Kennewick. I am especially proud of that one, because we completed the work under bid, and ended up giving money back to United Way.
Alliant Roofing Company is fully trained and certified in the application of Firestone Building Products, including: RubberGard™ EPDM rubber roofing systems, UltraPly™ TPO single-ply, roofing membranes, metal roofing systems, asphalt roofing systems, modular flat roofing systems, polyiso roof insulation and cover boards.
Most of us welcome the summer sun after a cold winter, but commercial building owners need to be attentive to the potential roof damage that can be caused by severe heat. Under normal conditions, Mother Nature is not always kind to flat roofs. Regular inspections are a cost-effective way to prevent big expenses due to weather damage. Commercial roofs expand and contract in prolonged high temperatures, and any flat roof system is vulnerable to damage. While most roofing systems are designed to have some movement, extreme temperature swings put any roof to the test.
Ask Alliant Roofing Company’s owner Jeff Sitton about what makes a quality commercial roofing system, and he starts with a history lesson. Let us step back a few years. Fifty years ago, everything was hot mop (built-up roof), where heated asphalt was in a kettle on the ground. It had to be pumped up to the roof, where roofers then applied it over felt materials. The felt served to separate the deck from the roof’s exterior…
